Julia has been an instructor or panelist at the San Francisco Writer’s Conference for five years, is a board member and panelist for Superstars Writing Seminars in Colorado Springs, and has paneled at San Diego Comic Con, Emerald City Comic Con, Phoenix Fan Fusion and Rose City Comic Con.

Julia is on the contracts committee at SFWA and a member of Authors Guild. She presents often to author groups and writing seminars on the following:
