Julia has been an instructor or panelist at the San Francisco Writer’s Conference for five years, is a board member and panelist for Superstars Writing Seminars in Colorado Springs, and has paneled at San Diego Comic Con, Emerald City Comic Con, Phoenix Fan Fusion, FanX Salt Lake City, and Rose City Comic Con. In 2026 she was a Guest of Honor at the Creatures, Crimes, and Creativity conference in Columbia, MD.
