I had the flu. It knocked me out. I must have slept 15 hours on Saturday. Chills, fever, body ache. I was suffering. I was miserable. Then my fever broke, and I felt vaguely human again, utterly thrashed to be sure, but the horrible headache was gone.
And just like that, it’s Monday. I’m behind on laundry, work, writing, etc. So I drank my coffee and procrastinated, which did not improve things. Then I reminded myself to soldier up.

Just Keep Swimming.
By tomorrow, maybe I’ll be on track. Maybe not. But nothing like having a major shutdown to remind you of that great quote from Princess Bride – “If you haven’t got your health, you haven’t got anything.”
